VDE (Viking Data Entry)

VDE is a Viking Data Entry Software System that since 1980 has been the standard for multi-platform keyboard data capture from paper documents. VDE enables you to enter data up to nine times as fast and with twice the accuracy of databases, spreadsheets or indexing modules that come with most imaging systems.

Surveys show that typical data entry speeds using Windows panels are from 1,500 to 3,000 keystrokes per hour. Viking customers average over 12,000 keystrokes per hour and some exceed 20,000.
